Bangladesh Innovation Fair opens registration ahead of September event

Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026 has opened registration for innovators, students, researchers, companies, government agencies, nonprofit groups, startups, and other participants, with applications due Aug. 30.

The three-day fair will be held Sept. 12-14 at Novo Theatre in Dhaka under the Ministry of Science and Technology, according to a ministry release. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to formally inaugurate the event.

Organized under the theme “Innovate to Market,” the fair aims to connect innovators, industry leaders, academics, and other stakeholders while supporting Bangladesh’s push toward a trillion-dollar economy.

Organizers said the event will feature more than 150 innovation showcases, over 15 sessions and dialogues, and an innovation hub. More than 50 local and international universities, over 50 industry experts, and more than 50 corporate, industrial, and commercial organizations are expected to participate.
