State minister for youth and sports Md Aminul Haque said Tuesday that the government aims to eliminate educated unemployment by expanding skills training and job opportunities for young people.
Speaking at the Tiger Run 2026 program at Jahangirnagar University, Haque said the government wants to ensure educated youths do not remain idle or become a burden on their families.
“The government’s foremost goal is to ensure that no educated young man or woman remains unemployed,” he said.
The event marked World Tiger Day and was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Forest Department, Youth Volunteer Alliance, Prottasha and the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
Haque said vocational and professional training would help graduates secure meaningful employment. He also praised efforts to educate young people about the Royal Bengal tiger, the Sundarbans and environmental conservation.
