Dengue claimed two more lives in the past 24 hours as Bangladesh’s total confirmed cases reached 16,104 this year, according to data released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The fatalities occurred in Barishal and Khulna divisions. The death toll now stands at 56, while 472 patients recovered during the same period, bringing total recoveries to 14,930.
A press release from the DGHS Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room reported that 423 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals nationwide as of Sunday morning.
