Bangladesh received $3.76 billion in workers’ remittances in March 2026, with Saudi Arabia leading the list of source countries.
Saudi Arabia sent $704.66 million, making it the largest source of remittance inflows to Bangladesh during the month. The United Arab Emirates ranked second with $586.26 million, followed by the United Kingdom with $526.57 million.
The United States and Malaysia rounded out the top five, sending $365.44 million and $355.78 million, respectively. The rest of the top 10 included Oman, Kuwait, Italy, Qatar and Singapore.
Together, the top 10 countries sent about $3.38 billion, accounting for most of Bangladesh’s total remittance inflows in March.
