Three Bangladesh Air Force personnel killed in road crash near Dhaka airport

Three Bangladesh Air Force personnel were killed and another was seriously injured in a road accident near Terminal 3 of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, officials said.

The accident occurred Monday night, near the airport’s third terminal, according to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR).

Lt. Col. Sami-ud-Dowla Chowdhury, assistant director of ISPR, said three members of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) died in the crash. A fourth Air Force member was rescued with serious injuries and was in critical condition.

Officials did not immediately release the identities of those killed or injured. The exact circumstances of the crash also remained unclear.

ISPR said the cause of the accident and additional details would be provided later in a press release.
