US-Bangla Airlines plans to serve 30 international destinations in 20 countries by December 2027 and launch a second carrier under its parent group, managing director Mohammed Abdullah Al Mamun said Sunday.

Speaking in Cox’s Bazar, Mamun said the airline currently serves six domestic routes and 14 international destinations in 10 countries. The group plans to operate one full-service airline and one low-cost carrier, with an announcement scheduled for July 29 in Dhaka.

Mamun said 21 new aircraft will join the fleet in 2027, offering wireless entertainment, internet access and mobile charging at every seat.

Planned routes include Phuket, Brunei, South Korea, Japan, Dammam and Madinah, subject to approvals.

US-Bangla and Air Astra hold about 75% of Bangladesh’s domestic aviation market.
