Bangladesh pushes pharmaceutical ties in meetings with Mexican companies

Bangladesh’s ambassador to Mexico, Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey, visited Monterrey in Nuevo León to advance economic and commercial ties, according to the embassy.

Ansarey met with the CEO of Farmacias del Ahorro to discuss collaboration in pharmaceuticals and retail health, highlighting Bangladesh’s fast-growing pharmaceutical sector and encouraging sourcing, investment and knowledge exchange. He invited the company’s leadership to visit Bangladesh to explore partnerships.

The ambassador also met Patricio Garza Sada of Laboratorios Corne, where both sides discussed technological cooperation and future business links between the two countries’ pharmaceutical industries.

In a separate meeting with Alvaro Barrera Segovia of Base Bank & Textile & Confection Industries, Ansarey reviewed Nuevo León’s economic outlook and identified opportunities in textiles, garments and manufacturing.
