Bangladesh should support Nepal’s transition now. Issue a clear statement of solidarity with a peaceful, constitutional handover. Offer election administration and rule-of-law expertise drawn from our own recent reforms. Back a SAARC or BIMSTEC forum to coordinate humanitarian and economic support during Nepal’s stabilization. Engage Kathmandu’s civil society and youth leaders directly.
Silence helps those who benefit from impunity. Speaking up affirms Bangladesh’s commitment to democratic renewal in South Asia and honors the courage our own young people showed in 2024.
