Police recovered the body of U.S. citizen Terrence Arvelle Jackson, about 50, from the Westin Dhaka on Sunday.
Jackson, who had been in Bangladesh for several months on business, checked into the hotel on April 29. When hotel staff failed to reach him in the afternoon, police and U.S. embassy officials opened his room with a master key and found him dead.
An embassy doctor examined the body and confirmed natural causes of death. Without a postmortem, the body was taken into embassy custody.
Investigators from Bangladesh law enforcement agencies also visited the scene.
