Bangladesh flights to Riyadh suspended through Oct. 21

US-Bangla Airlines has suspended its Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka flights through Oct. 21 after repeated closures of King Khalid International Airport disrupted operations, the carrier said Monday.

The suspension covers flights BS381 and BS382 between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia. The airline said passengers would be notified when revised schedules were finalized.

Travelers booked on affected flights were advised not to go to the airport until further notice. US-Bangla directed passengers to its sales counters or travel agencies for information about flight status, rescheduling, and alternative arrangements.

The suspension extends disruption affecting air travel between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia. The Business Standard reported the airline’s notice Monday, citing Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).

Operations at the Saudi airport have been repeatedly suspended and resumed following Houthi attacks originating in Yemen, according to media reports cited by BSS.
