Bangladesh’s Prime Minister’s Office released a photo Saturday showing Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his wife, Zubaida Rahman, attending a dinner hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump in New York.
The Sept. 22 dinner at the Lotte New York Palace brought together heads of state and government attending the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), along with their spouses.
Zubaida also attended a gathering of spouses of world leaders hosted by Melania Trump on the sidelines of the assembly. The White House said the event brought together participants in “Fostering the Future Together,” a coalition focused on children, technology, and education.
Tarique traveled to New York for the General Assembly and participated in high-level United Nations events during the gathering.
