Bangladesh Army tank firing accident kills two soldiers in Chattogram

Two Bangladesh Army soldiers were killed and an officer was seriously injured Wednesday in an accident during a tank firing exercise in Chattogram, the Army said.

The accident occurred at Hathazari Field Firing Range in Hathazari while a tank was firing as part of the exercise, according to the Army.

Two soldiers died in the incident, while the officer sustained serious injuries. The Army did not immediately provide the names of those killed or injured.

The injured officer was being transferred by helicopter to Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka for advanced treatment.
